I first picked this up for the colour - smooth buttery yellow stone with swirling cream veins working their way around the vase. I later realised that Egyptian alabaster stone vases were quite a thing in their own right!
This is a beautiful, if slightly 'worn in' example, with a small chip to base (pictured).
